Job Description
Low Voltage Technician II
Works with moderate supervision, and guidance from project forman or PM, pertaining to the installation and troubleshooting of Low Voltage systems. These low-voltage systems includes, but not limited to:
Structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Coax, Fiber, ext)
Paging systems
Access control and CCTV system
In building wireless systems
Audio visual systems
Technicians classified as a level II should be familiar with BICSI standards, NEC code, and Manufacture installation best practices. These individuals shall be able to proficiently perform the following duties:
MDF/IDF Build Outs
Installation of system media.
Installation of pathways including but not limited to J-hooks, basket tray, conduit etc.
Reading schematics, wiring diagram and blueprints.
Identifying potential issues and coordinating with project team.
Troubleshoot Low Voltage systems
Documentation of performed work and findings
Strong ability to work in a team environment
The individual must be willing and able to accept constructive criticism from teammates and those in superior roles.
Must abide by all company safety and operational process and procedures.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday (4-10hr days)*
