United Security Bank is seeking a full-time experienced Commercial Loan Support Specialist for our commercial lending department.
Primary Responsibilities
The Commercial Loan Support Specialist reports to the Commercial Loan Center Manager, and provides support to the CLCM and loan officers by accurately and consistently performing the following tasks:
- Print daily, weekly, and monthly reports for CLCM (deficit balances, past due notes, maturing loans, etc.).
- Order credit reports, flood certifications, Dunn & Bradstreet reports, OFAC, census tract code reports, and EDR reports.
- Assist customers with account and loan questions, requests for statements, etc.
- Prepare loan advance/pay-down tickets, G/L tickets, wire instructions, and other daily operational transaction paperwork. Obtain proper signatures from authorized officers.
- Submit loan documentation orders and loan boarding packages to the Loan Service Center.
- Reconcile and certify branch G/L accounts (loan suspense, loan cost receivable, etc.
- Prepare and maintain the loan files and digital files in an efficient and organized manner.
- Other duties and special projects related to commercial lending as assigned.
The Commercial Loan Support Specialist should possess the following skills and background experience:
- High School Diploma, plus two years of advanced education in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- One or more years of experience working in a commercial lending environment (bank or other financial institution).
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other common business software.
- Excellent personal skills, including the ability to work effectively with customers in the business community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
