Job Description:
This non-exempt (hourly) position is responsible for various audit and Quality Control functions to ensure maximum accuracy and maintain the highest standards of processing in the Commercial Loan Servicing and loan reconciliation departments. This position supports the Commercial Loan Production Manager and collaborates with the Commercial Loan Servicing Supervisor and Loan Servicing Recon Supervisor to develop and facilitate appropriate audit and review controls.
Duties & Responsibilities
Implement and streamline audit functions keeping both risk mitigation and efficiency in mind.
Perform daily review of base rate changes, accrual changes, and parameter maintenance.
Periodically audit of various departmental reports and reconciliations.
Participate in Jack Henry release testing.
Troubleshoot system issues; open cases with the vendor and perform testing in UAT as needed.
Assist with research of complex loan account issues and assist with problem resolution.
Collaborate with and backup the Commercial Loan Servicing Supervisor and the Loan Servicing Recon Supervisor and their teams as needed.
Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Minimum five years loan operations experience required.
Jack Henry core system experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively correspond with internal bank employees, outside vendors, and external customers.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 required.
Knowledge of Financial Processing core systems required.
Advanced computer skills in report writing and spreadsheet applications preferred.
Occasional travel to other First American Bank locations, Bank functions and training facilities.
Typical hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours may be necessary for timely completion of specific projects or various business needs.

Complete daily review of the Critical Maintenance report. Ensure any identified errors are resolved. Make suggestions to improve the report to efficiently capture customer and bank impact errors. Identify trends and address training opportunities. Expand this function to include critical customer impact review of new loans and modifications.
