Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Overview

Our client, a nationally recognized and award-winning litigation law firm, is seeking a (Commercial) Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic Austin team and play a vital role in supporting the attorneys and clients in navigating complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts across the country. The position requires an enthusiastic self-starter who takes initiative, takes pride in details and presentation, has a strong understanding of legal procedures and the ability to manage a wide range of tasks within a legal environment.

Qualified candidates must have 5 or more years' experience as a Litigation Paralegal. Commercial Litigation experience working at a national law firm (required) - preferably BigLaw/AMLaw 100.

Responsibilities

• File and serve court documents electronically.
• Calendaring court and other case deadlines.
• Assist with case management and scheduling.
• Gather and organize case-related documents.
• Use common research tools and document review platforms.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years experience as a Litigation Paralegal with a national law firm.
• Commercial Litigation experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in utilizing legal research tools and document review software.
• E-filing experience.
• Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required.

Work Environment & Hours

In office position

Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (some flexibility with start/end times)

Compensation

$100k+ (DOE), plus bonuses and benefits
