As an Account Manager, you will work closely with producers, clients, carriers and other internal team members in order to manage the servicing, marketing, growth and retention of an assigned book of business.
Requirements:Book of Business Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team
- Educate, advise, and make coverage recommendations to clients based on their unique risks
- Proactively perform account reviews to identify any gaps in coverage
- Manage new and renewal business marketing processes in its entirety
- Evaluate and negotiate carrier quotes on the client’s behalf
- Promote growth of existing book through account rounding
- Create proposals and presentation materials
- Bind coverage within established limits
- Resolve all policy and coverage-related concerns
- Maintain a broad knowledge base of carrier underwriting guidelines
- Manage client files to ensure proper documentation
- Other duties, as needed
Qualifications
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify unique risks clients face, and align solutions
- Solid understanding of industry products, regulations and market dynamics
- Proven ability to independently lead client discussions and meetings
- Organize, prioritize and keep multiple projects moving at the same time, seeing all through to completion
Requirements
- Property and Casualty license required; CIC or other advanced industry designation preferred
