Job Description
We are searching for a Commercial Lending Assistant to work closely and proactively with credit analysts, business relationship officers, title companies, and clients to coordinate the loan closing process, renewal, and reviews of bank loans. We are looking for someone who wants to learn and is a self-starter.

- Compile pre-documentation packages prior to submission to the loan servicing department for documentation.
- Verify all authorized signers for Borrowers and Guarantors, active status on Secretary of State, obtain insurance, preliminary title report, and entity documents.
- Perform pre-documentation due diligence to include running OFAC, preparing BSA, CIP, and Financial Document Certification forms, UCC pre-search, and Standard Flood Hazard Determination.
- Confirm the accuracy of all codes (Product, Purpose, NAICS, HMDA, CRA, and Collateral codes) on the Credit Approval Memorandum.
- Provide clients with copies of loan documents. Upload client and guarantor financials to the banks imaging system. Generate financial Tickler Reports.
- Assist credit analysts in resolving client post-closing inquiries or issues by answering phone calls, answering questions, and directing callers to proper Bank personnel.
- Assume responsibility for special projects, gather data, and prepare reports for Management, audits, and other personnel.
- A minimum of two years of related experience in Bank administration skills, lending activities, and operational policies; Associate degree in a related financial industry preferred but not required
- Advanced computer skills and typing skills
- Ability to navigate word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Intermediate math skills;
- Ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
