Manages Commercial Lines is responsible for managing Account Managers, Account Specialist and CSR, with the servicing of assigned accounts in accordance with the practices, policies, and procedures of the Club. Utilizes company resources to collectively deliver solutions to clients and is responsible for all aspects of managing and maintaining their commercial lines accounts. Partner with Senior Management to develop and execute the Small Commercial Lines business strategy, focusing on Agency growth and profitability.
What you will do:
- Manages the day-to-day-operations of the Commercial Lines Insurance Sales and Service team. Partners with Senior Management to develop and execute the Small Commercial Lines business strategy, focusing on Agency growth and profitability. Ensures that Club, Company and Agency policies and procedures are followed. Assist Sr Manager with year-end collaborate and budget planning.
- Assists in establishing performance standards and goals, monitor performance, review sales and quality results, provide feedback and assistance towards meeting goals and share best practices. Develops procedures, programs and performance measures to achieve sales and service goals. Oversees implementation, monitors results, and initiates corrective action.
- Partners with Customer Service, Processing and Underwriting Teams to coordinate the internal/external phases of sales and service delivery to improve processes. Works with underwriting to obtain approval for exceptions. Limits Errors and Omissions exposures by ensuring regional compliance with standardized procedures. Authorizes exceptions to policies; resolves member complaints, maintaining good will.
- Partners with Branch, Insurance Sales Teams and Customer Server Managers and staff.
- Manages proper staffing, responsible for new hire onboarding, training levels of all team members with a focus on development and performance management. Ensures staff is thoroughly knowledgeable about Insurance products and complies with all related laws, regulations and practices.
- Monitors compliance with legal and Agency licensing requirements, ensuring all staff are involved in continuous improvement efforts. Keeps abreast of legislative, industry and carrier changes and trends that may impact the small commercial lines business, keeping Agency staff informed.
- Maintains knowledge and awareness of new developments in the function, potential applications to further Club initiatives and makes recommendations regarding the use of internal vs. external services, reporting on such activities, proposals and managing ongoing vendor relationships.
Education
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing & Management Required or 6-8 Years of Additional Relevant Experience Required
Experience
8+ years Commercial Lines Insurance experience. 3-5 years supervisory experience
