What You'll Do
- Receive, deliver, assemble and install various commercial location items
- In corporate offices according to blueprints, written or verbal instructions.
- Deliver heavy disassembled furniture items from store or warehouse to client's desired location.
- Assemble and install products efficiently according to manufactures recommended procedures; correctly operate a variety of trade tools: screwdriver, drill, wrench, etc.
- Relay any issues to management, such as damage to product, client property, or installation problems.
- Read, understand and work from complex blueprints.
What We Require In a Candidate
- Active driver's license w/10 year clean DMV record
- Copy of clean 10-year DMV driving record (prior to interview)
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- At least 21 years old
- Prior ability to read blueprints, as well as office furniture installation experience or Garage Door installation experience
- Able to remain positive while working in a team environment
- Good math skills and ability to read a tape measure to the 1/32"
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job: heavy lifting up to 50lbs
- Availability to work weekends and after hours
- Availability to travel/work out of town
- Ability to use electrical and manual hand tools
- Ability to work independently when assigned tasks
- Ability to troubleshoot possible installment issues
- Ability to work well with team members and treat clients professionally
