Job Summary
Delivers Commercial Driver's License (CDL) instruction in the classroom, on-the-range, and on-the-road to students from a variety of backgrounds at various locations throughout the 10-county SKYCTC service area. Assists with recruitment and provides input on marketing efforts and curriculum development / program offerings.
Job Duties:
Escorts students to Kentucky State Police testing facility and prepares them for successful completion of the Class A CDL driving test. Work closely with SKYCTC Workforce Solutions staff. Other duties as assigned (may include department meetings, internal or external service, and professional development).
Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold current Kentucky Class A CDL License and have five (5) years' on-the-road CDL driving experience; or an Associate degree with three (3) years' on-the-road driving experience is preferred. Ability to effectively communicate with and respond to diverse populations and situations that arise. Ability to think quickly and respond appropriately in high-pressure situations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain apprised of current industry standards and state laws and regulations. Ability to build and maintain internal and external work-related relationships. Excellent time management and flexibility.
