HOIST Fitness Systems,a leading manufacturer of fitness strength equipment, is seeking to hire full-timeCommercial Direct Sales Representatives. The individuals in these roles will report to the Director of Commercial Sales, North America. They will be responsible for developing sales of the Company’s products in various designated markets and/or geographic territories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following.
- Must be completely knowledgeable regarding the Company’s products as well as the products and companies that compete with the Company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Analyze territory for solid understanding of best opportunities for profitable growth.
- Maintain elevated level of sales activity by consistently calling on customers in assigned territory.
- Visit every installation of products you sell on the day of the installation.
- Keep manager informed of your sales progress and pipeline; provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Communicate to your manager all product development ideas.
- Convey to your manager any significant customer service or significant product performance issues issue that arise.
- Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers.
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
- Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers.
- Develop and maintain a clear and actionable business plan including activities, time allocation, and process to achieve sales goals.
- Prepare all proposals in accordance with policies and procedures established by the Company.
- Must be technically competent in preparing layouts using Ecdesign software.
- Follow up on all past due receivables for your customers if requested by Accounting.
- Travel is a minimum of 50%
- Additional duties as assigned.

Education and / or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field or a minimum of five years of related experience.
Language and Mathematical Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate orally or in written form with management and internal and external customers. Excellent formal presentation skills before both small and large groups.
Reasoning Ability
- Demonstrates the ability to anticipate and solve problems or resolve issues.
Time and Attendance
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must have regular and predictable attendance.
