Position: Commercial Credit Analyst

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of credit analysis, commercial lending or equivalent financial analysis experience required.

Work Hours: Full-Time position that will work Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am - 5pm. Occasional before/after-hours event attendance may be required.

Work Location: In-office

Requirements:

A Day in the life: Under the direction of the Chief Lending Officer, the Commercial Credit Analyst is responsible for supporting the overall commercial lending function by conducting an in-depth industry and financial analysis of existing and potential borrowers. The Credit Analyst’s job responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing financial analysis, evaluating credit risk, preparing credit recommendations and/or presentations with supporting documentation, participating in loan committee, and assisting in the underwriting and servicing as needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Embraces the bank’s core values of servant leadership, persistence, curiosity, growth and listening.
• Provide outstanding customer service servicing duties including but not limited to greeting customers, researching customer inquiries, fulfilling customer requests, and other customer needs to enhance retention.
• Spreads financial statements and prepares cash flow analyses on current and potential relationships to determine financial strength.
• Prepares or assists loan officers with credit presentations for new approvals, renewals, and reviews.
• Prepares or assists with presentations of loans to loan committee and board.
• Prepare and maintain accurate loan records and regulatory reporting information.
• Accompany lenders at external meetings with current and potential clients to review and evaluate financial conditions.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of ANB credit, practices, and regulatory policies to assist bank in compliance.
• Completes required job specific training and attend ongoing training sessions, as required.
• Follows all bank policies, including but not limited to the Bank’s Information and Security policy.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of bank policy, procedure, products and regulations, compliance required.
• Strong background in commercial and small business underwriting and lending.
• Working knowledge of all commercial products and services.
• Actively participates in bank functions and community activities as a representative of the bank.
• Maintains up to date knowledge and develop professionally on a continuing basis. Participate in internal and external training and development opportunities as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
