Commercial Construction Superintendent

COMMERCIAL SUPERINTENDENT – (Portland, Oregon Region)

We are a well-established General Contractor with over thirty years of experience. Currently, we are expanding our Commercial Construction Division and are in search of qualified Superintendents with expertise in commercial renovations, Capital Improvements, Facilities, and Public Works projects. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who possess excellent organizational skills and can effectively oversee multiple projects with budgets ranging from $1M to $10M on average.

Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple projects at various locations within the region.
• Coordinating all subcontracted trades and supervising in-house crews.
• Conducting pre-construction meetings.
• Reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
• Creating and maintaining project schedules.
• Promoting and monitoring site safety procedures and conducting weekly safety meetings.
• Documenting daily activities and generating Request for Information (RFI) forms.
• Providing weekly reports on job progress.
• Assisting in estimating and bidding on projects as required.
• Basic computer skills are a must. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and MS Project is a plus.
