Summary:  The Jr. Assistant Relationship Manager assists the Commercial loan production team through direct responsibility for the assigned division’s bank tickler system to include timely collection of financial information, performance of loan covenant testing as assigned and monitoring of upcoming loan maturity and compliance dates.  Additionally, the position is directly responsible for auditing loan files and keeping the bank’s document imaging system (Accu-Loans) current for assigned division. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned duties in accordance with the Bank’s Mission, Vision and Core Values; and provide the Bank’s customers with timely, responsive and exceptional service in accordance with the Bank’s customer service standards.
  • Responsible for auditing loan files and keeping the Bank’s documentation imaging system (Accu-Loans) current for assigned division.
  • Responsible for management of assigned division’s bank financial tickler system to include the timely collection of financial information, performance of loan covenant testing, and monitoring for upcoming loan maturities and compliance dates.
  • As requested, review files and application checklists for missing underwriting documentation; notify RM and ARM of any missing documentation and prepare correspondence to the borrower.
  • Assist in investigating, interpreting and analyzing credit report.
  • As requested, assist in the preparation of draft term sheets and commitment letters.
  • Performs clerical duties (filing, copying, scanning, email/mail correspondence, etc.) related to the lending function, as needed.
  • Be knowledgeable of and able to promote all bank products and services.
  • Serve as in important part of the customer service team.
  • Maintain knowledge of and compliance with banking regulations.
  • Provides support to the division as needed in processing customer payments and/or advance requests, correct payment errors, complete telephone transfers, etc., as assigned.
  • Request new or renewed insurance documentation to verify collateral has current insurance coverage and work with internal teams with questions related to insurance tracking reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years banking or financial services industry working experience or equivalent.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or other related area
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills including face-to-face conversations, email, the written word, and phone conversations.
  • Thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Proficient computer skills with collaboration and productivity tools including Windows-based operating systems and office suites (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); spreadsheet applications to organize data used for advanced data analysis; internet; email; and bank software.
  • Able to work independently and in a team oriented, goal-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize.
