Job description

Paramark Real Estate Services is a leading and rapidly expanding real estate firm operating across six states and is renowned for its excellence and growth in the Midwest. As part of our strategic expansion, we are establishing a new presence in the Des Moines/Eastern Iowa areas and are actively seeking dynamic, entrepreneurial individuals to join our team as Commercial Real Estate Sales and Leasing Agents. This challenging yet rewarding role is on an independent contracting basis, offering top level commission-based compensation. Paramark provides essential tools such as marketing signage and access to prominent online advertising portals.


The Role:

In this role, you will play a key part in developing business, negotiating property transactions, and contributing to the success of our real estate operations.


What You'll Do:

  • Prospect, network, and build relationships to secure new business opportunities.
  • Provide comprehensive information on leasing availability, market conditions, and property values to tenants and landlords.
  • Accompany prospective clients to property sites, discussing features, leasing rates, and terms.
  • Compile and analyze property data for clients, preparing reports, surveys, maps, and presentations.
  • Prepare and review Request for Proposals (RFPs) and analyze responses.
  • Coordinate with lenders and owners on transaction documents, including listing and commission agreements, leases & sales agreements.
  • Assist in the preparation of real estate contracts and participate in negotiations and due diligence.
  • Strategically market and showcase diverse properties, utilizing cutting-edge promotional tools to maximize visibility and attract discerning clientele.
  • Cultivate a strong online and offline presence through networking events, industry conferences, and social media, ensuring a robust personal brand in the commercial real estate community.
  • Stay abreast of market conditions, property values, and relevant legislation affecting the real estate industry.
  • Engage in local business and charitable events, as well as industry associations, to create new contacts and generate business.


What You'll Need:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Iowa Real Estate Salesperson license
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivation
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Organizational and analytical dexterity
  • Capability to deliver efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
