About The Role:
About Your Contributions:
- Pitch and write multiple timely, deal-oriented shopping articles daily that generate strong affiliate revenue
- Use data and analytics to brainstorm and guide content decisions
- Collaborate closely with writers and editors on the Commerce team and across Dotdash Meredith
- Keep up with all things related to Amazon, including new product launches and sales
- Build own content within CMS
- Research, reach out to, and interview experts to provide background information and quotes as needed
- Attend and participate in weekly meetings
- Prepare content for major shopping events, like Prime Day and Black Friday
About You:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that works across multiple different brands
- A strong, fast writer well-versed in Amazon.com; experience writing commerce content is a plus
- Familiar with SEO best practices and have experience creating SEO-driven content
- Familiar with the Dotdash Meredith portfolio, and able to adapt to numerous brand voices and writing styles
- Experienced with digital media tools such as CMS (WordPress) and Google Analytics
- Comfortable working with data and analytics, and conducting keyword research
- Able to write compelling headlines that drive high engagement/page views
- Excellent at communicating with others
- Ideally, you have 2+ years related experience
