Please Note: Candidates must present with application a picture of - Driver's License / State Issued ID, Social Security Card, Direct Deposit Authorization letter from Bank, Current Vehicle Insurance, and Face Picture (must be straight forward, no hat no glasses). All candidates will have to complete an AM/NS Safety Orientation as well as a Graywolf Construction Site Specific. All Candidates will have to complete a drug screen and Breath Alcohol screen. Results must be cleared before candidate can go onto the AM/NS Site.

Pre-outage per diem: $90 per day

Outage per diem: $100 per day

Safety training is done onsite.

No smoking on site.

Local preferred

Currently working 40 hours but could increase based on workload.

Can possibly work other job(s) in area on Friday and Saturday if avail.

Job Description:

Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, Weld together metal components of products such as piping systems, plates, pipes, and tube or structural shapes, as specified by layout, blueprints, diagram, work order, welding procedures, or oral instructions, using electric arc-welding equipment. Plan installation or repair to avoid obstructions and avoid interfering with the activities of other workers. Secure pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, and hangers, using hand tools and power tools. Weld in any direction – flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions

JOB SUMMARY

• Must be able to read and interpret prints and plans
• Must be able to weld both carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
• Use stick, MIG, TIG, and flux core welding techniques to weld various components in varying positions
• Must be able to push/pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs., but may occasionally push/pull, lift, or carry up to 100 lbs.
• Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms, and legs, Hand/eye coordination,
• Must be able to communicate (hear, comprehend, and speak) to safely perform work,
• Will need to be able to perform sedentary to heavy work
• Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.
• Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
• Position may require prolonged bending/twisting, walking, crawling, kneeling, reaching overhead, squatting, pushing /pulling, or standing and lifting,
• Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, muddy conditions, loose rock, loose/soft sand, etc.

Weld Test

• 2” Diameter, carbon steel super coupon (5/8" thick)
• 6G position
• Option GTAW/SMAW: Tig the root and hot pass with 70 series filler and stick the remainder with 7018 electrode
• Option GTAW: Tig the root and all remainder with 70 series filler

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years proven experience
• OSHA 10 preferred , AWS certified preferred
• High School Diploma / GED
• Pass 2" diameter carbon steel super coupon (5/8") 6g position
• Pass Pre-employment drug screen
• Must have your own tools
