JOB SUMMARY - WEEKEND SHIFT (Fri-Sun 5AM-5PM)
This position involves the mixing of different color inks to match a supplied target
PRIMARY DUTIES

• Obtain targets to match against a CAD, handscreen or printed piece from original production
• Read and understand print schedule
• Calculate proper amount of ink required based on run size and percentage of coverage
• Mix proper amount of ink to complete the order
• Keep area clean and maintained daily
• Deliver inks to correct press
• Perform trial procedures for backorders
• Add any additives required to make the ink perform as necessary for the printer
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma, GED

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to stand, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, pivot/twist, balance, and climb.
• Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs. floor to waist FREQUENT, lift at least 15 lbs. knuckle to shoulder OCCASIONAL, carry at least 60 lbs. FREQUENT, and push and pull at least 90 lbs. of force OCCASIONAL.
• Must pass a physical demands test

MENTAL/VISUAL DEMANDS
You must be able to read text that is close and at a distance with or without correction. In addition, you must be able to perform manual tasks, hear, sit, reach, lift, and interact with others. Must pass a Color Hue Acuity Test
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work activities occur in an inside workspace where extreme heat and cold may occur. There are fans for ventilation. Work activities may encounter dust and fumes.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION
Fork truck certification required
