Job Description:
Apex Systems has an immediate opening for a Color Chemist for one of our leading Clients in South New Jersey!
Responsibilities
• Match colors of product, dry acrylic powders and gel formulations as per customer specifications.
• Develop new test methods for appropriate evaluation of new and existing technologies.
• Perform extensive stability testing for color fading and product stability per GLP guidelines.
• Present new concepts and technologies to sales and marketing team as well as management
• Utilize appropriate spectrophotometric techniques and software as needed to match and document color. Physical testing and Viscometer
• Interact with laboratories and sales teams in other global locations. Will also interact with onsite customers
• Identify important scale up parameters and design plant equipment to safely manufacture new pigmented formulations.
• Assist in the Scale up of formulations and processes into production equipment.
• Attend relevant technological training seminars and trade shows.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or other Science related field.
