The Hoselton Auto Mall Collision Center is looking for a Metal Tech Apprentice to join the team in their newly-renovated body shop!
This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (no weekends, some flexibility on start/end time).
Compensation:
$32,000 to $40,000 (based on experience)

- Other duties as needed
- Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record and be able to pass a drug screen

POSITION SUMMARY
The Body Shop Metal Tech Apprentice is responsible for working with the lead technician to learn all phases of light to heavy duty repair. The Apprentice must foster a positive team spirit within the department and must be meticulous in their work always striving to improve productivity and quality of work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Body Shop Metal Tech Apprentice is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. The list, however, is not necessarily an exhaustive description of the duties and responsibilities associated with the job.
- Disassemble vehicles
- Write- up supplements with estimator
- Address any hidden damage on vehicles due to loss
- Repair vehicles to pre-accident condition
- Reassemble vehicles as needed
- Monthly progress reports and meetings with Lead Tech & Body Shop Manager
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed

WORK SCHEDULE
Full time employees are regularly scheduled for 40 hours within the confines of our operating hours. Part time employees are regularly scheduled for anything less than 40 hours. Overtime as needed and approved by the manager. All employees are required to take meal breaks in accordance with New York state law.
