The Technician is responsible for fixing a vehicle after it’s been damaged.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience repairing vehicles/trucks/heavy equipment
  • Replacing and repairing bolt-on and weld on panels
  • Knowledge of structural or replacement repairs, airbag replacement, and mechanical work
  • Knowledge of OEM proper repair procedures and where to locate the procedures to achieve a proper repair
  • Car O Liner experience with Vision and EVO holding systems 1,2,3. a plus.
  • Ability to work with MAG/MIG and Resistance welders
  • Ability to repair/replace Aluminum
  • Meet or exceed the company’s requirements for tech efficiency, cycle time (to keep vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery), and return rate
  • Work and communicate with the production manager and estimators on the vehicle repair status, including supplements
  • Utilize all required safety equipment, follows proper repair procedures, and adhere to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal
  • Keep personal work area organized and clean, returns tools, and maintains parts/materials carts in an organized manner

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:

  • ICAR, ASE, and OEM training preferred but not required
  • Certification in electronic measuring
  • HS Diploma or GED, Auto Body Vo-Tech certification strongly preferred
  • Must provide have your own tools
  • Complies with the manufacturer safety guidelines and standards
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders
  • Attention to detail, ability to operate in a team setting, positive attitude to mentor/build a team
  • Ability to produce in a performance-driven environment
  • Must be willing to submit to background screening
  • Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and pull.
  • Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs
  • Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
  • Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment
  • Standing, sitting, and walking
  • Performing repetitive motions
