Collision Center Assistant Manager

University Motors is looking for a Body Shop/Collision Center Assistant Manager to join our growing Collision Center team.  Automotive service or Collision Center experience as well as managerial experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right applicant.  The primary responsibility of the Assistant Manager is to provide support to the Collision Center Manager.  We offer in-house and franchise training to familiarize our staff with product features and franchise best practices.  Our business is family owned and operated and our newly remodeled facility offers a great working environment.  With over 30 years in the business, we offer an environment which gives the opportunity for constant growth to support long-term career goals for our employees.

Collision Center Assistant Manager's daily job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the Collision Center Manager with daily tasks and paperwork
• Confirm customer appointments
• Draft repair order after approvals and enter the order into the repair management system
• Manage and oversee daily operations of the shop
• Coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance work
• Ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
• Establish good customer relations by providing accurate estimates, timelines, relevant customer information and handling customer queries effectively
• Review vehicle and final inspection quality check process
• Performing follow-up/satisfaction calls
• Completing company and franchise training
  

Qualifications for :

• Excellent communications and customer service skills
• Great organizational and effective time management skills
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high volume environment
• Be able to maintain a positive attitude & professional demeanor
• Body Shop and Management Experience are preferred
• Valid WV driver's license
• Be able to pass background and drug screen
