Job description

Marty Cancila Collision Center has an immediate opening for a Collision - Body Shop Manager in Florissant MO. We are seeking a qualified individual with customer service and automotive collision estimating experience to help our expanding business grow.


Responsibilities:

As Collision Center Manager at Marty Cancila, you will enjoy working with our loyal, established customer base, and will have many opportunities to grow professionally. In this role, you will:

Position Summary: Responsible for the overall operation of the Collision Center, including Risk Management, Teammate development, Client Metrics, production, and administration. Maintaining company goals and standards for performance, growth, and world class customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Forecast goals and objectives for the Center and strive to meet them.
  • Recruit, recognize and retain talented teammates. Monitor the performance of all Center staff and provide leadership and coaching as well as ensure that all employees have the required training for their position.
  • Demonstrate a great ability to lead, develop, and inspire others to achieve success.
  • Supervise the sales, overall production, and administration of the center.
  • Ensure that every associate follows all standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for overall team engagement, including effectively leading team engagement meetings and communicating center scoreboard.
  • Review estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with Company and Client guidelines.
  • Monitor the performance of each teammate and provide coaching through timely and specific feedback.
  • Ensure the center is qualified to meet the requirements of our Insurer and I-CAR partners.
  • Responsible for the center's regulatory compliance, including hazmat regulations and documentation.
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission and Core Values in all interactions with associates, customers, clients and vendors.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with other departments, insurance adjusters and customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Comply with all safety rules, guidelines, standards. Create a culture of safety through good housekeeping and PPE usage.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ideal applicants will have the following qualifications:


  • Must be 18 years of Age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Proven track record of growing and managing in an Auto Body Collision environment.
  • A commitment to excellence in everything you do
  • I-CAR training
  • Ability to manage all aspects of the business, from sales and customer facing to back of the shop management to production efficiency & quality.
  • Must be comfortable working in a high-volume collision shop environment.
  • Ability to work independently, with professional ambition and an "owner's mentality." The ideal candidate would be interested in career advancement including multi-unit operations management.
  • CCC One Experience.
  • Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management and the ability to adapt easily to fast-paced environment.
  • Valid drivers' license required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others – verbal and written.
  • Willing and able to pass a thorough background check.
  • Personable, friendly demeanor with "World Class" customer service approach
  • Well groomed, professional appearance
