SalarySuburban Village Collision Center is looking for an experienced Automotive Body / Collision Technician to join our high-capacity Auto Body shop.

Responsibilities
- Accurately assess and evaluate vehicle damage
- Perform necessary Auto Body work, paint and replace parts as needed
- Identify and order materials and parts needed for repairs
- Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards
- Communicate with the designated manager and staff on a regular basis about work performed, necessary changes, new parts needed or any other concerns related to repair or maintenance work on vehicles
- Follow all safety requirements and local and federal standards when working with all tools and equipment
- Adhere to best practices when working in the Auto Body shop by reporting any accidents or incidents to management as soon as possible
Qualifications
- Ability to complete start to finish jobs
- Strong attention to detail
- Has in-depth knowledge and experience in collision repair methods
- Proficient in using industry standard collision repair equipment and tools including frame straightening equipment and welding tools
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position

Experience:
- Auto body repair: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
