Warehouse spotters/switchers perform job duties in a warehouse setting and are expected to accomplish physically demanding work.

We're looking for an experienced warehouse Spotter/Switcher to join our team.
Job Responsibilities

• Move trailers on the property as directed by customer personnel or systems.
• Verify seals and perform any load status yard checks as required by the facility.
• Perform trailer safety checks, including, but not limited to, sliding tandem axles (if required).
• Red Tag trailers if needed.
• Must obey all applicable traffic laws while conducting its operations on behalf of the customer.
• Will obey all facility traffic and safety rules as specific facilities require.
• Adhere here to appropriate training records and sign-off procedures as required by each facility
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Maintain an effective Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) schedule for equipment.

*Please note this is not a travel position; you should live close to the site in Collierville, TN.

Education:
We believe that skills and experience are what truly matter. While education can be a valuable asset, it is not a strict requirement for success in this role.
Experience:

• Previous switching experience is preferred.
• Valid Drivers License
• Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., Loading, product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.)
• Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)

Skills/Knowledge:

• Good verbal/written communication skills.
• Willingness to work the required schedule.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English for effective communication.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

• Interact respectfully and courteously with associates, co-workers, management, and customers.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Work Environment:

• This position is designated as safety-sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner is required. Warehouse environment with extreme heat and cold temperatures.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat most of the workday.
• Handle cases weighing from 25 to 95 pounds and can expect to handle between 50 and 200+ pallets on any given day.
• The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms or alarms) in moderate to loud work environments.
