Collections Call Center Representative

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Process all incoming consumer calls utilizing prepared scripts to respond to basic questions, assist with account payments, and provide information regarding potential payment plans.

· Review pre-litigation accounts to determine the appropriate path including further collection calling, initiating legal involvement, or place in No Action Intended status.

· Determine if alternate service methods may qualify for accounts where initial service was not successful.

· Assist with incoming consumer calls utilizing prepared scripts to respond to basic questions, assist with account payments, and provide information regarding potential payment plans.

· Utilize resources available to determine employment and asset information for consumers utilizing procedures set forth by the company.

· Accurately document all calls and third-party contacts pertaining to verification of employment.

· Utilize resources available to determine employment and asset information for consumers utilizing procedures set forth by the company.

· Provide excellent customer service by contacting potential employers on behalf of clients to verify employment for consumers with open accounts placed with the company.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Proficient in relevant computer applications and Call Center systems

· Good typing skills

· Knowledge of collection principles and methods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour
