Location: Remote or in-person

Education: Doctoral Degree

Certifications: DEA

License: RN and Medical

Responsibilities

- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
- Accepts telehealth consults as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Review any charts, if required by the state
- Be available for telephone consultations with nurse

-Review and sign administrative documents for practice

-Maintain malpractice insurance

Skills

Proven experience as a psychiatric physician

-Supportive of nurse practitioner

-In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practice

-Respect for patients confidentiality

-Compassionate and approachable

-Responsible and trustworthy

MD or DO degree and valid license to practice the profession in Alabama
