Collaborating Physician

We're seeking a dedicated collaborative physician, that is licensed in several states for our startup telehealth weight loss clinic. This remote position involves using telehealth technologies to assist patients in achieving their weight loss goals. It offers the flexibility of working from home and the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient health.

Responsibilities:

1. Telehealth Consultations: Conduct remote medical evaluations, review patient histories, assess current health status, and discuss weight loss objectives.
2. Treatment Planning and Prescription: Develop personalized weight loss plans, including prescribing FDA-approved medications, advising on diet and exercise, and managing medication side effects.
3. Patient Monitoring: Regularly monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide ongoing support and motivation.
4. Collaborative Care: Work in tandem with other healthcare professionals, such as dietitians and behavioral therapists, to offer comprehensive care.
5. Education and Counseling: Educate and counsel patients on lifestyle changes and medication adherence through telehealth services.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about the latest in weight management medicine and adhere to telehealth regulatory requirements and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Valid state medical license.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Experience in weight management and obesity treatment, preferably in a telehealth setting.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on telecommunication.
• A commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic, and personalized patient care remotely.

Terms:

• $25 per 15-minute consultation, 1 hour daily (1-2 PM EST) until advertisements lead to more demand.
