Cold Storage Sanitor

Hearthside in Itasca, IL is expanding!

We are actively seeking several Sanitation Workers on 3nd shift. The ideal candidate has sanitation and/or experience working in Cold Storage environments. Food Production candidates are encouraged to apply!  

• We are looking for candidates with experience however, candidates who have the right attitude, have reliable transportation and are eager to work could be consider for the job. 
• This is a very demanding job, it does involve a lot of physical work.  Working in hot/cold environment with water - daily.  Bending, twisting, lifting and standing up for long periods of time - daily.  Regularly lifting up to 15 pounds, occasionally and so more often 45-50 pounds when moving/using a hoist, pallet jack or cart, etc. 
• Candidates should be able to speak English for safety reasons. 
• Have to be able to communicate and take direction from the Sanitation Group Lead and/or the Sanitation Supervisor. 

We are looking for team players.  There is opportunity to grow.  With time, we would like to promote the right candidates to Sanitation Lead. 

Work Environment:

• Room cleaning expectations 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• Daily MSS pre- and post-cleaning hours; three hours for cleaning
• Required Monday through Friday; Saturday and Sunday are needed when production is planned
• Workers must be quick learners who can operate in a cold, wet, fast-paced workplace
