Position Summary:
The Cold Forming Operator will be tasked with the operation of machinery and equipment at our facility in Farmington Hills, MI. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity!
Position Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate assigned mechanical equipment
- Check that items produced pass quality control requirements
- Perform complex troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments or repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications
- Use required gaging instruments
- Collaborate with team members to increase overall throughput
- Consult with management and help with training
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring when needed
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
