Coils Tester - 1st Shift

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Coils Tester - 1st Shift to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI!
The hourly rate for this position is $19.75 per hour. The core hours are 7 am - 3 pm.

What you'll do:
The Coils Inspector will complete the required quality dimensional & materials check, Ratio Testing, and prepare for final assembly usage.
In this function you will:

• Operate Ratio and Turns Test equipment
• Dimensionally inspect coils for conformance
• Inspect coils for conformance to all engineering and design-specific tolerances and specifications
• Troubleshoot non-conforming coils using section-by-section testing methods to isolate defective part
• Create Rejection reports for non-conforming coils
• Manage the defective coils area to ensure repairs and rework is being completed in a timely fashion
• Complete quality audits of various coil winding operations (Kitting, Primary Winding, Secondary Winding, etc.)
• Operate forklift, walkies, stackers, and hoists

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Skills:

• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to interpret prints, applicable engineering, safety instructions, maintenance and operating instructions and quality specifications.
