Wieland is hiring a Coiler Operator. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site.
Starting Pay: $18.82/ hr plus shift differential
Responsibilities:
Coiler OperatorResponsibilities:
- Operates the Coiler in the Finish Department. Operates equipment safely per standard operating procedure and initiates improvement to safe operations as appropriate
- Maintains safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Maintains effective communication with other employees, including supervisor/management and during shift changes.
- Retrieve proper material in accordance with traveler ticket.
- Installs proper tooling required by traveler ticket
- Ensure coil meets customer specifications stated on traveler ticket.
- Performs quality checks as stated in Quality Plan.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the various tasks identified on the machine’s training evaluation form.
- Able to work overtime as business needs require.
- Other Functions:
- Cleans and returns removed tools.
- Attends meetings as required
- Cross trains in other areas as needed

- Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent training as approved by Immediate Supervisor, Next Level Supervision, and Human Resources Department.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOP’s.
- Successfully completed Forklift training
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge utilizing measuring devices.
