Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs. - Help customers locate products and provide recommendations based on their preferences. - Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and transactions. - Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer purchases accurately. - Maintain a clean and organized shop environment. - Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels. - Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Skills: - Strong customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience. - Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating sales totals. - Knowledge of retail math concepts, such as calculating discounts or sales tax, is a plus. - Sales skills to promote products and upsell when appropriate. - Previous experience in the food service or food industry is desirable. - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. - Familiarity with operating a Point of Sale (POS) system is preferred.
