Coffee Machine Technician

We are seeking a skilled Coffee Technician to ensure our customers enjoy great tasting coffee every day by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining our brewing equipment in the Chicago area. The right person will be a mechanically inclined, safety-conscious individual with a basic understanding of the principles of equipment repair to effectively maintain, repair, and re-program assorted coffee equipment.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Provide excellent customer service experiences and maintain strong relations with customers and other staff members.

• Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion

• Bench testing new equipment upon delivery prior to installation

• Refurbishment of used coffee equipment to extend its useful life/prepare for installation

• Removal of equipment or switch-outs

• Parts ordering and logistical coordination with the home office

• Make sure the van is stocked with an inventory of shop stock assuring that appropriate levels of equipment are ready for installation

What You Will Need

• 1+ year(s) prior experience installing, servicing, and maintaining large industrial appliances

• Prior experience with Coffee Machines specifically is preferable

• Quick learner and Self-Starter

• Have basic plumbing and electrical skills

• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment

• Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and operate as a self-starter without direct supervision

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
