Code Ninjas Frederick in Frederick, MD is looking for one Code NinjasCenter Director to join our 8-person strong team. We are located on 5726A Buckeystown Pike. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.

Who are we?

Code Ninjas is the nations fastest-growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 7-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way by playing and building video games they love. Kids have blast and cant wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt. Our core promise is, Kids have fun, parents see results. We believe in these words so much that its written on the walls in our center.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Full-time Assistant Center Director to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Are you a passionate, ambitious, dependable, business-minded leader? Do you enjoy taking responsibility for a project and seeing it through to success? This could be the role for you.

For success, the Assistant Director must have:

• An enthusiastic, outgoing and team-oriented personality
• Outstanding communication skills
• Very good organizational skills
• 1 2 years of management, customer service, sales or education preferred
• Experience with Summer Camp operations & procedures preferred
• Motivation to take the initiative to ensure students success - imperative
• Proven work history with children ages 5 and up, and enthusiasm for working with kids
• Knowledge of business operations, sales, and team leadership
• Familiarity with technology, Microsoft suite, social media, office equipment
• Deadline and detail-oriented. We can't miss dates or overlook customers
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

The Center Directors typical day includes,but is not limited to:

• Managing complete sales process e.g. Lead calling, giving tours to potential clients, closing sales
• Managing front end administrative office
• In charge of hiring, training, scheduling and supervising part-time teachers
• Reviewing student programs and ensuring academic achievement
• Work with parents to define childrens learning needs
• Participating in local marketing activities to help grow your centers business
• Engage and oversee coaches/tutors to ensure team needs are met
• Ensure the center is a fun and safe learning environment for our students
• Report progress weekly, to the Center Owner

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 35 hours/week

Monday - Friday, 1 PM - 8 PM, with occasional Saturdays

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $17.00 - $18.00/hour.
