What you’ll do…
- Repair or splice in new line as needed to complete the testing and certification of the project.
- Place and install required coax cable when necessary to complete assignment(s).
- Install all passive and active devices, pedestals, and vaults and coax splice cases required to house CATV equipment per customer requirements.
- Test Coax-RF lines for acceptable signal between points-continuity and fault.
- Utilize RF Meters and TDR accurately
- Maintain project information such as production sheets, time sheets, and customer required paperwork.
- Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies
Qualifications
Who we are looking for…
- Qualified candidates will have a strong work history, willingness to learn, and a displayed aptitude and commitment to the cable/lineman field
- Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
- Ability to read and interpret construction prints, plans, and specifications
- Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
- You are at least 18 years old & authorized to work in the United States
- You can pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT Physical and criminal background check
- You have a valid State driver's license (cannot be considered Provisional), including an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company.
