Job Title: CNC Lathe/Mill Operator Reports To: Machine Shop Supervisor

Full Time Position for 1st Shift

Self motivated responsible candidate wanted for machine shop. Works independently with guidance while following SOP requirements.

CNC Lathe/Mill Operator Responsibilites and Qualifications

· Strong Safety Orientation

· Setting up existing/new jobs on a 3 axis CNC vertical mill and/or lathe with provided blueprint

· Manually program G code

· Unload materials from machine and prepare equipment for next process

· Inspect parts to print and for quality

· Maintain all quality process documentation for ISO

· Maintain neat, clean and safe work area following lean 6S procedures

· Complete preventative maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications:

1 + year CNC machine operating experience

· Solid knowledge of basic shop mathematical skills

· Basic troubleshooting skills

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Attention to Detail

· Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently

· Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures

· Time management with sense of urgency for deadlines

· Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills

· May be required to work Over-Time, weekends, and/or irregular hours

· Physically capable of lifting up to 80 pounds unassisted

· Able to stand for prolonged periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch, carry, stretch, climb stairs/ladders

· High School Diploma or GED is required

Pay dependent on experience
