About the Role
The Dicing Machine Operator will be responsible for operating a set of DISCO and K&S dicing saws in a high-mix, medium volume production environment. In the dicing work center, metalized ceramic substrates with a wide variety of form factors are cut into finished products.
What You Get to Do
- Operate one or multiple dicing saws to cut ceramic substrates according to established process instructions in a tightly controlled production environment
- Read and understand machining blueprints
- Set up updated machine dicing programs for new or legacy parts as required
- Inspect parts dimensionally against customer requirement drawings as found in the router
- Record measurements and observations in process sheets and databases
- Ensure production lot integrity by following specific handling rules
- Follow all safety protocols
- Perform routine machine maintenance and track service intervals
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Cross-train as requested in other areas of the company
About You
- Minimum of 3 years CNC machine tooling experience.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for up to 10 hours.
- Must be able to wear a lab coat, spittle mask, and gloves while working.
- The position requires working with chemicals, measuring devices, and microscopes.
- Individuals must have previous experience working in a similar environment.
- Must be able to work independently and demonstrate extremely high levels of precision and accuracy.
