- TRAINEE CNC Lathe Machine Operator
1st Shift Schedule-Overtime available-Long Term Opportunities- Bilingual-Spanish a plus
- Setting up the lathe: This involves installing the correct cutting tools, work holding devices, and raw materials, as well as programming the CNC code for the desired part.
- Operating the lathe: This involves starting and stopping the machine, monitoring its operation, and making adjustments as needed.
- Measuring and inspecting parts: Trainees need to be able to use various measuring tools to ensure that the parts meet the required specifications.
- Maintaining the lathe: This includes cleaning and lubricating the machine, identifying and troubleshooting problems, and following safety procedures.
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude: You will need to be able to operate the lathe safely and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail: It is important to be able to spot any errors in the parts or the CNC code.
