Position Summary:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A certificate or diploma in machining, engineering, or a relevant discipline like a waterjet table is a plus.
- 1-2 years operating CNC Routers or similar production machines.
- Manual lathe/mill (not required).
- Intermediate math skills (fraction/ decimal calculations).
Responsibilities, Requirements, and Functions of CNC Machinist:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces to ensure parts will pass a quality check.
- Be able to safely operate CNC Router Tables.
- Take critical directions and follow detailed instructions.
- Perform machine maintenance when required.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep the work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Be Drug-Free.
