Cnc Programmer/Set Up/Machine Operator

Produce machined parts to specified prints by programming, setting up, and operating Multi-Axis CNC’s; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

CNC Machine Operator operates machine tools such as CNC lathes, CNC mills by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand and follow work instructions
• Inspect parts for defects
• Load and unload parts
• Change tools as required
• Monitor machine operations to detect defects or machine malfunctions
• Adjust machine as needed to maintain tolerances
• Measure and inspect parts per work instruction
• Data Entry and paperwork – Ensure complete and accurate records
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• One (1) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience using hand-measurement tools; micrometer, caliper, dial indicator is a plus
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Experience reading blue prints
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience operating CNC Lathes and Mills is a plus

Educational requirements:

• High School diploma/GED preferred
