CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer (Relocation)

Our client is a nationally known manufacturing company located in the greater Charlotte, NC area. This job offers and requires paid relocation with 30 days of the official offer letter being signed. Mastercam programming experience is required. Aerospace and/or Medical manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Write Mill-Turn programs using Mastercam or Gibbs software to run CNC machines.
• Provide technical expertise and support to CNC manufacturing staff.
• Assist Design Engineering in determining technical specifications and quality requirements for manufactured parts.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality Assurance and Operations to create and maintain Bills of Materials, inspection plans and set up sheets.
• Investigate operational problems affecting manufacturing, quality assurance, and production assembly.
• Recommend improvements to manufacturing processes to improve performance, increase reliability, and decrease cost.
• Work closely with machine tool, perishable tool suppliers and corporate partners to implement new products and processes and to resolve quality and delivery issues.

Job Qualifications

• 10+ Years of experience in CNC Programming. Current Mastercam and/or GibbsCam experience required.
• Must have project management skills and new product development experience.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft products.
• 5+ years experience and high level of knowledge of Mastercam, Gibbs or other related CAM software.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems and documentation desired.
• Must have experience in material review board, corrective action procedures.
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering is preferred but not required. Quality Department cross functional experience and/or previous Engineering position preferred.
