CNC Programmer J-6824

• Utilize Catia V5 and Vericut software to create CNC programs for 5-axis CNC machines.
• 5 Axis Cincinnati and Gantry
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to develop machining instructions.
• Optimize CNC programs for speed, accuracy, and efficiency, while minimizing waste and tool wear.
• Perform tool selection, setup, and toolpath optimization.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and machinists to address any programming-related issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct thorough simulations and verifications using Vericut software to identify and rectify errors or collisions.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming, with a strong focus on milling.
• Proficiency in Catia V6 and Vericut software.
• Extensive knowledge of 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical degree or certification in CNC programming or a related field is preferred
