This opening is for 3rd shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am - 6pm). 3rd shift also receives 11.5% shift premium on all hours worked.
Job Requirements:
- High School/GED diploma.
- Two years of field specific Technical or Vocational education preferred.
- Minimum of 1 to 5 years experience programming NC machines in precision part production. Field specific Technical, or Vocational experience or education may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Operational knowledge of each assigned machine in the NC Department.
- Operational knowledge of precision measuring and inspection equipment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Effective skills are essential in reading blueprints, diagrams, drawings, and sketches.
- Ability to work overtime on an as-needed basis, involving extra hours during the week, Fridays, Saturdays, and occasionally Sundays and holidays may be required.
Physical Job Requirements
- Must be able to routinely work sitting at a computer workstation 80% of normal workday.
- Balance of workday may require bending, squatting, and lifting.
- Mobility required between multi-building complex covering several acres.
