Pay/Shifts:
Day Shift:6am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday) + Overtime as needed
Night Shift: 4:30pm-3:30am (Monday-Thursday) + Overtime as needed
Pay:$20-$40/hr (Depending on experience)
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine machining requirements
- Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and CAM programming software (e.g., SolidWorks, CAD)
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is preferred
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and use precision measuring instruments
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
