CNC Mill Programmer / Operator
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience in CNC programming Mills
- Experience in CAM programming programming software
- Must be able to proficiently use Mastercam CAD/CAM software
- Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up and program of our HAAS mills 3 & 5 axis unsupervised within the required set-up and run times for each operation
- Must be capable of creating and editing programs for increased efficiency
- Must be capable of using appropriate measuring tools and equipment
- Must be capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine fixture clamps and soft jaws
- Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches
- Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work
- Work Environment
- Must feel comfortable with fast-paced environment and frequent changeovers
- Must be willing to operate Mills

CNC LATHE PROGRAMMER / OPERATOR
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components.
- Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the machining process and sequence.
- Select the appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
- Perform machine setups, including loading programs, tooling, and work pieces.
- Conduct regular alignments of CNC lathe machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Make adjustments to machine settings and tooling as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes and improve productivity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist and Programmer.
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and the ability to program using G-code. CAD/CAM experience is a plus.
- Swiss-screw machine setup and programming experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of modern machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Manages time effectively, in order to accomplish the highest-priority goals and objectives
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
