Job Overview:
Are you passionate about smooth production lines and quality outputs? As an CNC Material Handler, you'll play a vital role in achieving goals in the production work center. You'll utilize some heavy equipment and industrial-grade materials, responsible for completing predetermined prioritized-orders, and communicate effectively to peers and management within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, and distribute raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to the appropriate locations within the CNC/Production department and warehouse.
- Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts, maintaining accurate records of inventory movements, and reporting any discrepancies.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages, defects, and discrepancies and report any issues to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the movement of materials between production lines or storage locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all company policies and procedures.
- Follow safety policy and procedures in the highest caliber throughout the warehouse.
- Safely use standard production equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, etc.)
- Suggest and work with cross-functional departments to implement improved production and tooling methods.
- Load/Unload delivery trucks for disbursement of materials.
- Ensure that all warehouse and general infrastructure paperwork is properly executed to completion.
- Use strapping material to secure products to pallets.
- Assist to identify and communicate any defects or non-conformances.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
- Ability to recognize improvement capabilities
- Possess adequate verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to interact well with others
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Able to safely use standard production equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, etc.)
