As we continue to expand with new aerospace component contracts we are expanding our day and night shifts. We use 2-5-axis mills and are looking for someone familiar with CNC mills. We have competitive benefits and lots of overtime as well as development opportunities.
Responsibilities
•Planning machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
•Programing mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs
- Setting up mills by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; trimming heads
•Verifying settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces; adhering to standards and specifications
•Maintaining specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, and facing; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
•Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
•Documenting actions by completing production travelers, quality logs, and posting time to E2 job logs
•Maintaining continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Qualifications
•Able to read drawings and blueprints, perform own inspection, ability to build own tools, and run parts complete
•Minimum of 10 years experience
•Must be able to use precision measuring equipment to achieve tight tolerances
•Ability to read drawings, blueprints, routing travelers, and other documentation
•Experience performing inspections
•Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
Pay is up to 45 per hour based on experience with day and night shifts open currently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
