CNC Machinist Weekend Supervisor - Swiss Experience a plus

Job Summary:

NAECO, LLC, is a small to medium sized manufacturing company located in Peachtree City, GA (approximately 30 miles south of Atlanta) that produces small precision metal parts for industries including aerospace and defense, railway, medical, power grids, industrial controls, etc. The Weekend Lead/Supervisor will oversee our weekend shift of 3-5 employees, the weekend operations of the plant, while running our CNC Mills and/or CNC Swiss machines.

Essential Duties:

• Oversee all weekend operations of the plant, ensure that all safety, quality, and operational standards are met
• Oversee 3-5 employees to ensure work is getting completed and policies are being followed
• Responsible for opening and closing the plant
• Perform daily routine in setting up and operating CNC Mill or Lathe Machines and manual machines
• Gives input and assists in delivering performance reviews
• Handles verbal counseling for policy violation
• Performs other duties as assigned by management to support operations and maintenance.

Skills Required: The skills required for this position include:

• Must have manufacturing experience running CNC mills and set up experience
• Must have CNC Programming skills on Mills and/or Lathes, prefer Swiss experience
• Must have Supervisory skills from past job experience
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be comfortable performing routine work
• Must be motivated and have a positive attitude
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screening and criminal background check

The schedule is Thursday - Sunday, or Friday - Monday (applicant can choose one of these schedules) 5:00am - 3:30pm (Four 10 hour days, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and two paid 15 minute breaks). We do have some flexibility if candidate is only available 1 weekend day and 3 workweek days. This job will likely move to a Monday - Thursday schedule eventually with the same hours.
