Job Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist, you will be instrumental in our manufacturing process. Your key responsibilities will include:
- CNC Machining: Set up, operate, and make offsets on CNC machines for specific tasks when needed, ensuring efficient production of complex parts with high accuracy.
- CNC Programming: Program using Mazatrol and G-Code at machine
- Tool Selection and Maintenance: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling required for each manual machining task. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of your machined parts using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve machining processes to maximize efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot machining issues, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and machine performance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in machining is a plus.
- 5 years experience as a CNC machinist.
- Proficiency in operating various CNC machining tools..
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) and quality control procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
