CNC Machine Operator

Job Description:

SWM International is a leading provider of downhole perforating tools and related products for oil and gas. We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified CNC Machine Operator to join our team.

The CNC Machine Operator will operate their assigned machines each day, machining metal components to meet company drawings and specifications. The Operator will perform daily setups, adjust settings and offsets, and maintain the machines throughout the day as required. You will need to have knowledge of the software and hardware of each machine. The Operator is expected to control the machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily functions of manufacturing machinery to produce a high-quality products.
• Follow all company rules, policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Inspect and document one’s own manufactured parts
• Perform minor machine maintenance as required
• Rigorously following instructions, job specifications, and safety guidelines
• Verify the programs conformance to the specified documentation
• Maintain a clean work area and setup the work area for the next shift
• Be respectful and keep a good attitude towards all co-workers throughout the day
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 2-10 years related work experience required
• Ability to perform entry level CNC machining processes
• Able to read and interpret documents related to the machinery, operations, and safety
• Able to perform simple and complex math scenarios
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks, work standing, bending, and lifting 25-50 lbs.
• Capable of working independently
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week
• Valid driver’s license or government issued ID
• Must be able to pass a drug screen for illegal narcotics

Compensation: Beginning at $16.00 dayshift, $17.60 nightshift (higher hourly rate based on experience)

Hours/Shift: 12 Hour shift, 6 days a week
